They called it Le Tour De Yorkshire. With typical regional pride, us Yorkshire Folk have gone out of our way to make the first two stages of the 101st Tour De France our own. Wanting to show the world how we do things in Yorkshire. So with plenty of good cheer and beer, we saw the riders on their way. The race passed through the village where my mum lives on both days, so there I stayed and while my kids played the village experienced a kind of carnival. It was grand.
